The Open Door Sisterhood is growing!  We are looking for some sisters to join our team as we encourage women all around the world to take steps forward and be world changers for good right where they are.  We know that God is leading and directing and we can’t wait to see who He brings to join us on this journey.  These positions are volunteer, with some exciting perks and benefits.  Take a look and see if one of these positions is a fit for YOU!

Podcast Production Assistant

The Story:

Podcasting has many details and we’re looking for someone who wants to join our team in helping produce the weekly shows.  We’re thinking she is already a fan of The Open Door Sisterhood Podcast and is someone who gets excited about what’s happening in digital media and who is eager to learn about the art of podcasting.

Tell Me More:

Ideally this person has experience in, or is willing to learn:

*garageband editing

*writing copy

*social media savvy

Responsibilities Include:

*co-production of the weekly podcast shows, from editing to show notes you’ll learn it all

*social media campaigns

*meetings with Krista Gilbert bi-weekly

*bi-monthly team meetings (via video)

Commitment Level:

3-5 Hours per week

This position is volunteer…. however, there are perks!

The Perks!

*Personal coaching four to six times a year.  We will create a plan together based on specific needs and provide in-depth coaching on strengths, goals, purpose, and calling.

*Growth and learning from the sisterhood – access to all pre-recorded videos that the mastermind group uses throughout the year.

Newsletter Editor

The Story:

Newsletters are a critical component as we build the sisterhood community.   We’re looking for a sister who loves the written word and who gets unusually excited about grammar, newsletter layout, and meaningful content.

Tell Me More:

Ideally this person has experience in, or is willing to learn:

*newsletter production through Drip Communications

Responsibilities Include:

*production of a monthly newsletter

*working with the graphic designer for the content of the month

*gathering writing for the newsletter (through the sisterhood)

*keeping track of newsletter stats / trends

*bi-monthly team meetings (via video)

Commitment level:

5-8 hours per month

This position is volunteer…. however, there are perks!

The Perks!

*Personal coaching four to six times a year.  We will create a plan together based on specific needs and provide in-depth coaching on strengths, goals, purpose, and calling.

*Interaction with many seasoned, professional writers and speakers

*Growth and learning from the sisterhood – access to all pre-recorded videos that the mastermind group uses throughout the year.

Graphic Designer

The Story:

Every brand has a story to tell, and images communicate that message.  We’re looking for someone who finds joy in unifying images through color, design, and organic feel, and who wants to discover visual materials that inspire and challenge women toward a meaningful life of faith.  These images will complement the written content.

Tell me More:

The ideal candidate will have experience in, or is willing to learn:

*graphic production in Adobe Illustrator

*basic photoshop editing

*interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities Include:

*weekly Illustrator promotional pictures

*regular graphics for social media campaigns

*graphic design for bi-monthly newsletter

*bi-monthly team coaching meetings (via video)

Commitment:

2-3 hours per week

This position is volunteer for 1 year, and there are perks!

Social Media Pinterest Manager

The Story:

The main goal of this position is to provide inspirational, practical, and promotional Pinterest posts that inspire women to live purposeful lives.  We want to be a consistent part of their daily life, a sister next to them on the journey, and we do that through the podcasts and contact on social media.

Tell me More:

The ideal candidate will have experience in, or is willing to learn:

*Picmonkey, Photoshop, or Canva

* Hootsuite, and Socialoomph

Responsibilities Include:

*Take quotes we provide from interviews and put them on memes for posting

*Post on Pinterest via Tailwind

*Create images in Picmonkey and schedule them

*Bi-monthly team coaching meetings (via video)

Commitment:

2-4 hours per week

This position is volunteer for 1 year, and there are perks!
