Each year hostesses Krista Gilbert and Alexandra Kuykendall invite a small group of women to participate in a yearlong mastermind experience. The group is meant to foster personal reflection, professional learning and peer input. And in the spirit of the Open Door Sisterhood, this is done through trusted community.
The heart of the mastermind year is a 4-day retreat where conference calls are swapped for real life hugs. Where friendship is solidified and the sisterhood grows deeper. Based in the belief we work as Christ’s body here on earth, serving in our various capacities as one larger force of love, every retreat invitee offers something to the group experience. It is this mutual offering that removes one person from the center stage for the weekend, and allows all gifts to be valued equally by the group. It is a time of mutual teaching and learning, gifting and receiving, blessing and being blessed.
Nestled along the shores of Priest Lake, Idaho, the Open Door Retreat is meant to be a time of renewal and refreshment for those who attend. A time to experience God’s love through the natural environment and through the sisterhood. Because we are sisters in Christ and we are FOR each other.
