Valentine’s Day….a day of love! Whether you are snuggling up with a honey, making dozens of cookies for class parties, or wondering why we have this holiday in the first place, we invite you to join us for our first annual Things We Love! episode.
This is about fun and practical. Please know that the things most dear to our hearts aren’t actually things at all. But if you were to buy us some Valentine’s gifts, these might be on our wish lists. And we think you should know about them too (also please know none of these are sponsored responses, they truly are our go-to items.)
So go ahead and click on over. We are delighted you have joined us for this Valentine’s Day special. No matter what day of the year you are listening, we hope you feel loved.

I have been enjoying listening to your podcast. I only reached the first third on my drive to work of this episode, so I thought I would cheat and look at the show notes!
I got a little teary seeing Camp Spalding listed. I attended as a 7th grader, growing up in the Presbyterian church and went back, for some winter camp time there as well…I also was a counselor the summer before I started college. Anyway, I took the cross walk when I was in 7th grade and my life has never been the same. It has been over 40 years since I stepped out of my parents’ car to attend camp…one of the best weeks of my life. I grew up in Pullman, WA, had grandparent in Spokane and went to WSU. Now I am a very settled Portland, Oregon gal. Anyway, I can’t wait to hear why it is a favorite! xoxo
Hi Helen! I’m so happy to hear from you! Thank you for leaving a comment. That is so cool you were a counselor at Spalding. Wish we would have overlapped. I bet we did at some point and didn’t know it. I lived in Portland for 4 years, so we could talk Portland-vibe as well! Hugs and joy to you today….
